Technique A: Recursive / Nested Cuts
After cutting a primary shape from an edge, slice a smaller shape from inside it. When flipped, the outer piece moves outward, while the nested sub-cut flips back inward toward the center square.
Technique B: Dynamic Asymmetry
Balance visual mass without mirror duplication: oppose a large, bold solid cutout on one edge with a dense cluster of intricate, filigree micro-cuts on the opposing edge.
